What's on my mind is the truth about life, what matters and what doesn't. Is there anyone that truly knows what life is all about, or is there anything, or anyone, that can truly satisfy you or me in this life? Actually, when I think about it, a life time is rather short. Here I am 22, more than a quarter of my life already gone, and that's just assuming that I live to be a ripe old age or don't die of a disease or don't get killed, which by the way I've come pretty close to getting killed. So what is the meaning of life, or what is the answer?
I know the answer, I didn't write, I didn't say it, but I know it, I've experienced it, I live it every day, and I know it is more true than anything in this world. Get a pen and paper and write these words down: "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Those are the words of Jesus Christ and can be found in the Bible in Matthew 7:13-14 Simply, Jesus is the answer. Like I said, life is short, so if your only hope is in this life time then it's pretty sad. But there is life after death, there is a heaven and a hell. Don't leave yet, you might not be able to read this next year. Y2K, all computers are going to blow up, ok not really, but there will be some problems. My point is, it doesn't matter if you can or can't read this next year, what matters is if you know Christ. No one can really be sure what's going to happen in 2000, you don't know for sure what's going to happen tomorrow, or later on today or tonight.

I felt the need to put this page up here so you could know the truth about Jesus. Of course you've heard
His name, basically you know who He is, but I needed to make sure you really know. If I
only had a few seconds, I would say it's hell without Jesus, and heaven with Him. Simply, if you
know Him as your personal Savior then your going to heaven, if you don't know Him then your
going to hell. I know that seems harsh, and when a lot of people think of Jesus they don't
think of hell, but maybe they should.

Let's look at a short Bible verse that everyone knows- John 3:16 For God so loved the
world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life. When we hear or think about these words of Jesus we
always think about what God offers, what He gave for us, but most of us never think about
"should not perish"
Jesus saith unto him, I am
the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto
the Father,
but by me. John 14:6
I, probably like most people before I got saved, thought that I needed to accept Christ as
Saviour so I could go to heaven, because I can't forgive my sins, if I could pay a price for my
sins do you know what the price would be? You can pay the same price too. Yes, there
is a price that we can pay without accepting Christ, the price is eternal separation from God, we
can, or will pay the price in hell. That's the only price without Jesus. But God loved us so much
that He sent His only Son Jesus to pay the price for those who would accept it, Jesus gave
His life on the cross, nails pounded through His hands and feet, for you and me. There's a song
that is so true "When Jesus was on the cross, I was on His mind." I'm sure that you know
that salvation is free for you and me, but when I think about it, Christ paid a very expensive
price, His blood.

Key to Eternal LIFE

Like I said, I thought I had to accept Christ, and I did, and now I can be sure that I'm going to
heaven instead of hell. But honestly, I thought it stopped there, I didn't really think about it,
but I didn't have to wait until I got to heaven to know Jesus, He is with me always, instead of
having a religion I have a relationship with God. I can take Him all of my problems, when I'm
lonely, discouraged, depressed, troubled, and everything else, I can talk to God about it and He
is always comforting. But I must say this, since I know God and the price He paid for me,
I don't get such feelings as depression or lonely anymore. He opens doors that are bolted shut.
I can't even begin to explain or describe His help and presence. You see, He gives me heaven
for sure, but He is also a comfort in this world. And we all know that this world can be pretty hurtful.

Here are some of the main reasons why I think some people don't get saved: They don't think
they can give up certain things in their life. And lets face it, if you think that you have to
give up something or some things to live a Godly life, then you obviously know that those things
are wrong, sin. And those things never could satisfy you anyway, but they would be difficult to
give up because you don't know of anything better. Your a slave, did you know that?
John:8:34: Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth
sin is the servant of sin. Whatever your sin is, it's your master, it doesn't matter how big
or how small it is, you still serve it. It's easier to be free than you think. John8:36 If the
Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Can you imagine how
wonderful it would be to be free from the bondage of your sin? Jesus can make you free.
Therefore if any man be in
Christ, he is a new creature.

But as many as received him, to
them gave he power to become the
sons of God, even to
them that believe on his name.
John 1:12
"What would my friends think?" You know, that not getting saved, going to hell, because
of fear of what others might think or say is a horrible, crazy reason to reject God. When you
reject God you are choosing hell over heaven. Jesus gave His life on a cross for you, if your
friends think bad of you for wanting to accept God's gift, then maybe their not your friends
at all. Knowing God and going to heaven, thanking Christ for shedding His blood for you, that is
indescribably more important than worrying about what someone is going to think about you.
God made you and He made your friends, who could be a better friend than God? No one.
